STEERING INSTRUCTIONS
1: FIRST REMOVE YOUR OLD DRAG LINK AND TIEROD
2: AFTER ALL OF THAT IS REMOVED YOU CAN PROCEED WITH DRILLING YOUR KNUCKLES TO ¾ (I RECOMMEND A ¾ REAMER AVAILBLE TO PURCHASE THROUGH AMAZON)
3: ONCE YOU HAVE DRILLED YOUR KNUCKLES YOU CAN START MOUNTING YOUR NEW CROSSOVER STEERING!
4: I ALWAYS START AT THE DRIVERSIDE KNUCKLE WITH THE SUPPLIED ¾ X 3.5” BOLT AND 1 SAFETY WASHER MOUNTING WILL GO STARTING FROM THE BOTTOM – BOLTHEAD – SAFETY WASHER - HEIM JOINT – KNUCKLE – NUT
5: 0-4” OF LIFT
MOUNT ON TOP OF PITMAN ARM
THEN I MOVE UP TO THE PITMAN ARM WITH THE ¾ X 4” BOLT YOU WILL HAVE 1 SAFETY WASHER AND ONE REGULAR MISS ALIGHNMENT MOUNTING WILL GO STARTING FROM THE TOP
BOLT HEAD – SAFETY WASHER – HEIM JOINT – REGUALR MISSALIGHNMENT – PITMAN ARM – NUT
4” AND UP OF LIFT HEIGHT
MOUNT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PITMAN ARM
THEN I MOVE UP TO THE PITMAN ARM WITH THE ¾ X 4” BOLT YOU WILL HAVE 1 SAFETY WASHER AND ONE REGULAR MISS ALIGHNMENT MOUNTING WILL GO STARTING FROM THE BOTTOM
BOLT HEAD – SAFETY WASHER – HEIM JOINT – REGUALR MISSALIGHNMENT – PITMAN ARM – NUT
6: LAST BUT NOT LEAST MOVE OVER TO THE PASSENGER SIDE KNUCKLE WITH THE SUPPLIED ¾ X 5.5” BOLT YOU WILL NEED 2 REGULAR MISSALIGHNMENTS AND 1 SAFETY WASHER MOUNTING WILL GO STARTING FROM THE BOTTOM
BOLT HEAD – SAFETY WASHER – HEIM JOINT – KNUCKLE – REGULAR MISSALIGHNMENT – HEIM JOINT – REGULAR MISSALIGHNMENT – NUT
Some wheels may come in contact with the bolt head requiring the bolt head to be ground about a 1/32 of a inch
